For so many years, the idea of working freelance only really applied to the likes of journalists and photographers. Location Independence
For me the biggest benefit of this kind of lifestyle is that I can work from anywhere in the world. It doesn’t matter if I am at the beach, in a library, in a cafe, or even on the road, I can still get work done. All I need is a charged-up laptop and an internet connection, and I am good to go. This is by far the best way of working in my experience.
No More Commuting
Commuting used to be the least favorite part of my day. I would usually spend around three hours just going to work and coming back again. Since switching to a freelance lifestyle, I now don’t have to worry about this. I have an extra three hours in my day which I use any way I want.
